We offer you a warm welcome to our spacious, Grade II listed Ludlow cottage, which has been awarded Ludlow’s Conservation and Heritage Award for quality of conservation and enhancement, having been immaculately renovated, decorated and furnished in a traditional style. We provide characterful luxury accommodation with period features, oak beams and all the facilities that you would expect, including a comprehensively fitted kitchen. It’s ideal for a family holiday in beautiful Shropshire.

We have a professional cleaning team who ensure that the property is thoroughly cleaned between guest bookings.

• Garden cushions are in the cupboard under the stairs.
• Parking: A digital parking permit is provided for BLUE ZONE street parking for one car for the duration of your stay. Please contact the owner with your car registration number a few days before your stay. There are 7 parking spaces opposite the Maltsters House and plenty more 30 seconds walk away over Coronation Bridge. A 24-hour car park is also available a short walk from the house - recommend downloading the MiPermit Shropshire app BEFORE arrival. The nearest and best value car park is the Lower Galdeford, Level B car park where you can park for up to 72 hours. For guests with electric vehicles, there are two Charging Points in the Upper Galdeford car park nearby.

Arrival

There is key safe access to the front door. Please contact owner for details.

Accessibility

The main entrance has a 1 inch (2.54 cm) step.

There is level access from the main entrance to the downstairs bedroom, downstairs shower/laundry room, lounge, dining room and kitchen.

There is a 5 inch (12.5 cm) step to the courtyard garden.

There is a 3.75 inch (9.5 cm) step into the downstairs shower.

Width of front door is 90 cm. Width of back door is 89 cm. Width of door between downstairs bedroom and hallway is 79 cm. In the downstairs bedroom there is unobstructed space of 120 cm x 90 cm, or more. Width of door between downstairs bedroom and shower room is 79 cm. Width of door between shower room and hallway is 69 cm. Width of door from hallway to the kitchen is 79.5 cm and from the kitchen to the dining room is 80 cm. Width of door from dining room to lounge is 80 cm. Width of door from the hallway into the lounge is 79 cm.

Bathroom sinks have cross-headed taps or lever taps and the showers have bar controls. Kitchen sink and upstairs bath have lever taps.

All bedrooms have non-allergenic bedding.

There are two major supermarkets close by, both with disabled access.

Parking

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a 2.5 inch (60 mm) kerb. Four metres to the right of the front door is a dropped kerb one inch (25.4 mm) high.

On-road parking is provided for one car in Corve Street diagonally opposite the Maltsters House. Other cars may park either on Coronation Avenue or in the Lower Galdeford car park. For extra cars it is advisable to download the MiPermit Shropshire app before your visit.

The nearest and best value 24hr car park is the Galdeford Car Park Lower Level, Level B, which is approximately 2 minutes walk away. At the Galdeford Car Park Upper Level, Level A, there are 2 electric charging points.

Travel by public transport

Ludlow train station is 3 minutes walk away. There are regular bus services from Shrewsbury (no. 435), Hereford and Leominster (no. 492/490), Kidderminster (no. 292), Park & Ride (no. 722) - all Monday to Saturday.
